Here are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions: Q: Does a child have to go to St. Cecilia School to be on a team. A: No, the teams are for all members of the parish. Q: Do we have to be a member of the St. Cecilia's Community for our child to play in the SCSA league? A: The emphasis of the Association is to provide teams for the members of the parish. However, a child whose family is not a member of the parish may apply and if there is room on the team they may be put on the team. Q: What ages are the teams for? A Teams are formed for each grade, starting with kindergarten through 6th grade. For soccer and baseball we have teams for each of these grades. Some sports now have Pre-K divisions. Q: How much is the registration and uniform going to cost? A: It varies depending on the sport. Please see the registration form for more details. Q: How can I register my child for a particular sport? A: Click on the link for the sport you are interested in and then click the 'Register' link. If that does not work, contact the Commissioner for that sport to obtain a registration form. |
